About Us
Woodward & Falconer Pubs Ltd was set up in 2001, by Jeremy Woodward and Duncan Falconer. They have a clear and distinct aim of providing great food combined with great friendly service within the relaxed environment of a pub.
As a business we recognize our success is based only on our people, so our core policies are based around training and development. The business always has on average twenty members of the team undertaking various levels of NVQ's, where we work closely in partnership with Total People Ltd who co ordinate the qualifications. We focus on developing our people into future roles and see it as an ongoing challenge to ensure all of today’s students and junior staff, become tomorrow’s general manager or head chefs.
Our pubs are run by an enthusiastic and energetic team, whose priority is always to deliver our customers the ultimate dining experience. Our general managers are tasked to maintain a tight well run ship whilst keeping the traditions of the true British landlord. Alongside them are our team of head chefs who are dedicated to creating traditional, well cooked food using fresh food from a well planned supply base.
Supporting these teams we have a small head office crew, that take care of the day to day general work enabling our pub teams more time to do what they do best – being great land lords and great chefs.
